A CATALOG OF DESIRE AND-DISAPPEARANCE BY ANA CRUZ

Blurb

Ana Wolf, an introverted 28-year-old librarian, discovers a forgotten diary on the streets of Berlin that sparks her sense of adventure and leads her on a transformative journey of self-discovery.
The diary belongs to Gabriella Meyer, a daring sex therapist living in the communist East Berlin during the 1980s, where pleasure was a scarce commodity and danger lurked around every corner. Ana’s safe and mundane life is turned upside down as she delves deeper into Gabriella’s gripping tale of defiance, desire and her sudden disappearance.

From secret therapy sessions to polyamorous relationships, Gabriella’s story challenges Ana to question societal norms and navigate the complexities of love and relationships in her own life.

In a journey filled with twists, turns, and unexpected connections, Ana learns that true liberation lies in embracing one’s authentic self.
“Catalog of desire and disappearance” is a mesmerizing tale of love, resilience, and the enduring power of the human spirit, weaving together past and present in a captivating narrative that will leave readers spellbound until the final page.

About the author

I am a visual artist and writer living in Germany. Used to express myself through images, I was eager to explore the written word and to bring into existence a world between the two cover pages. Catalog of Desire and Disappearance is the first book I am sharing with the public.

As an author, my goal is to captivate and entertain readers seeking to rest from the everyday lives. I strive to craft relatable female characters that evoke empathy, liberating young women from the pressure of perpetual perfection.

I love getting lost in the streets of large cities. I cannot stand being the center of attention.

I enjoy experimenting with various writing styles and techniques to bring to life the persona behind every story I write.
